Introduction

Urbanization has seen some rapid growth over the years all around the globe. As more and more population shifts its focus to the urban area, power consumption is skyrocketing in an acute fashion. To accomodate the needs for energy, saving is generating. And yet, there are many "bad" assignment in the current scheme.

Transmission Losses
During the transmission of electricity, some energy is 'lost' from the transmission system, usually in the form of heat. This lost energy is known as transmission losses. It is proportional to the transmission distance.
Long Distance Coverage
In the current assignment the users and substations are far from each other, leading to high transmission losses.
Over-supplied And Under-Supplied Areas
In the current assignment some areas have too many users and too few substations, causing overflow on capacity. The opposite happens to other areas, making the utilization of substations very low.
